To be the market leader by providing the worlds finest equipment and customer support second to none.  In 1989 Haefeli-Lysnar won the National Small Business of the Year award and in 1994 was the second survey equipment supplier in Australia to achieve certification to ISO 9002.  Haefeli-Lysnar is a professional team backed by experience with four qualified surveyors on staff and a combined total of 40 years surveying and 30 years sales experience. Our four service technicians have a total of over 40 years experience maintaining survey equipment. So we understand our clients needs.  Haefeli-Lysnar have first class service facilities with experienced technicians, well equipped workshops and a commitment to fast, efficient and friendly service. Haefeli-Lysnar is the only Trimble Authorised Service Centre in Western Australia.

History

Haefeli-Lysnar Survey Equipment was founded in 1983 by Instrument Engineer - Urs Haefeli and Land Surveyor - Richard Lysnar.  Together they provided sales and service of PENTAX and ZEISS JENA survey instruments, and built up a enviable reputation for friendly and efficient service.
The range was enhanced in 1986 with the addition of the prestigious GEODIMETER product range, and new products such as GARMIN GPS equipment, GEOCOMP and Terramodel software.

In 1993 Peter Hugall, a Chartered Accountant took ownership of Haefeli-Lysnar and has overseen the significant growth and development of the company through to present day.

In 1999, Haefeli-Lysnar was also awarded the sole Western Australian TRIMBLE dealership, and since the merger of Trimble and Geodimeter, this has been the main focus of all activities.

Haefeli-Lysnar has won many awards including: in 1989 being awarded the WA Small Business of the Year Award, followed in 1990 by the Australian Small Business of the Year Award - testimony to the reputation and performance of the company.

Haefeli-Lysnar is also a Gold Sustaining partner of the Spatial Sciences Institute and is also a strong supporter of the surveying learning institutions such as Curtin University, West Australian School of Mines, Leederville TAFE College, and South West College of TAFE in Bunbury through sponsorships, awards and allowing access to the latest positioning technology.

2006 also saw the introduction of a new company arm – HL Solutions which is focussed on providing positioning machine control solutions to the Construction and Earthmoving industries.  HL Solutions is also driven by the very same values that has seen Haefeli-Lysnar become the major positioning equipment provider in Western Australia.
